Established in 2000 by Mr. Zhang Jiangling in Beijing, BJ Bloom started initially as a small tour operator for Chinese tourists to Greece and in the same time began to import Greek agricultural products (e.g. honey, wine, olive oil) to China. Eight years later (2008), a new office was launched at the city of Shanghai, expanding significantly the business cycle and the turnover.
It would be required four more years, in 2012, in order BJ Bloom to obtain physical presence in Greece through the opening of Kyveli shop, a large merchandise store at the heart of Greek capital, Athens, selling Greek traditional products, souvenirs and memorabilia to Chinese and other tourists. Two years later, BJ Bloom acquired Travel Hermes, a leader company in the Chinese incoming tourism bringing together the selling points in China and the operational, the customer service and the supply chain in Greece, creating thus an A to Z tourism business structure.
